The midlife crisis describes a feeling that comes on gradually. An inner dissatisfaction makes itself felt, although at least on the outside everything seems to be OK. It is not really tangible and triggers insecurity in those affected.

Remaining good parents despite separation The times when a marriage had to last until the end of life are over. We live in a different, faster time, separations are common. Nowadays it is okay to take different paths. We are allowed to be bolder and don't have to bleach in a relationship that doesn't really make sense anymore. However, it becomes more difficult when children are involved. But a separation or divorce does not have to mean the end of the family relationship.

From birth onwards, everything in most families is organised around the children. Taking them to nursery, later to school, cooking dinner, putting them to bed, reading bedtime stories, giving advice and support. Everything that is done is either for the children or because of the children. Sometimes the time seems far too short to juggle everything.
