Costs and how I work
I would be happy to meet you in my practice in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel. However, as stated above, counseling can also take place online.
Online counseling can be useful if travelling to and from my practice is too time-consuming or you cannot find someone to look after the kids. Also, if both partners live in different places. Or you and your partner live abroad and couples counseling in German or English is not available there.
The prices apply both on-site and online.
Individual counseling:
60 minutes € 120 + VAT
90 minutes € 180 + VAT
Couples counseling:
60 minutes € 140 + VAT
90 minutes € 210 + VAT
Family constellation:
approx. 90 minutes 200 € + VAT
How I work:
I take 1.5 hours for each consultation so that we can discuss your concerns in detail. The cost of my consultation includes preparation and follow-up of the first session. Following the first session, I send individuals or couples a detailed questionnaire to reflect on their personal concerns or relationship. The findings from the questionnaire are incorporated into the subsequent session. In my experience, my clients gain a much clearer view of their current life situation or partnership.
Appointments are arranged individually with you. Cancellations at short notice (less than 48 hours) and appointments that are not kept will be charged in full.
My counseling services are addressed at self-payers and can also take place at the weekend or in the evening.
All contents of our meetings and your personal data are of course subject to confidentiality.
1. Do you also offer online counselling?
Counselling can take place either at my practice in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel or online. We will discuss together which option is most suitable for your personal situation. Online counselling can be helpful if the journey is too long, the couple lives apart, mobility is limited, or childcare is difficult.
2. Is there a free initial consultation?
No, there is no free initial consultation. In my experience, it works best to get straight to the point during the first meeting. However, a brief phone call beforehand is free of charge.
3. What are the costs for individual, couples or family counselling?
The prices apply regardless of whether the counselling takes place online or at the practice:
- Individual counselling: 60 minutes €120 + VAT / 90 minutes €180 + VAT
- Couples counselling: 60 minutes €140 + VAT / 90 minutes €210 + VAT
- Family constellation (system board): approx. 90 minutes €200 + VAT
All services are for self-paying clients and are not covered by health insurance.
4. How does a counselling session work?
I allow 1.5 hours for each session so that we can discuss your concerns in detail. The counselling also includes preparation and follow-up work for the sessions. After the first session, you will receive a personalised questionnaire to help you reflect on your relationship. The insights gained from these questionnaires will enable me to address your issues in an even more targeted manner.
5. Am I protected by professional confidentiality during counselling?
Yes, all content discussed during the sessions, as well as your personal data, is of course subject to professional confidentiality. Counselling takes place in a safe and confidential setting, so that you can discuss your issues openly without worrying about them being disclosed.
